The Promoter Nymph a classic Czech racing fly, used by some of the world’s finest. My version has been inspired by Lubomir Svabek, the standout Czech commercial tyer.
The overall design of the fly is identical to Lubomir’s however the materials used have been adapted to suit our trout waters . Tied on a Hanak Competition 450 hook with a Tungsten 3mm bead this fly is a weapon fished euro or even under a dry fly or indicator. A fly you need in your trout catching arsenal .
This is my version of the Promoter Nymph, which has the same good mix of buggy features, just like the original, with materials adapted for Australian conditions. The Promoter out performed most other flies on the days a few us fish it.
